VP Pulse Control

VP pulse control, which regulates pulse periods with high precision

Newly developed pulse control functions have been added to the high welding performance of the VR1 series, which has been commended by users. The functions quickly respond to changes in the arc length during operations, thereby contributing to the achievement of a beautiful bead appearance and low spatter welding. It is now possible to achieve the optimal welding current waveform across a wide current range, tailored to the materials being used.

Low-pulse function

High-quality aluminum MIG welding

The pulse output is controlled with two different conditions, thereby achieving a beautiful bead appearance comparable to that achieved through TIG welding. During aluminum welding, this product enhances the initial penetration depth in the starting area, ensuring a sufficient effective length of weld.


Easy-to-understand display for intuitive operation

The intuitive operation developed for the GR3 series has evolved further. The setting of welding conditions is completed by entering the required parameters in order from left to right on the display.

Output management functions

Output management functions support welding quality control and frontline management

Various welding data including the motor current and arc time are output. It is also possible to issue notifications for cases where the preset upper or lower limit is exceeded by blinking the LCD display.
These functions are useful for achieving uniform welding quality and recognizing the timing of maintenance.

Welding Navigation

Welding Navigation and Plate Thickness Command facilitate the setting of welding conditions

The main unit is equipped with Welding Navigation. The welding conditions are automatically determined by setting various conditions such as a joint shape and plate thickness on the LCD. Furthermore, the use of the Plate Thickness Command will enable users to set the welding conditions simply by entering the plate thickness.* Even individuals who are not regularly engaged in welding or have limited experience can easily set welding conditions.

* Available for fillet welding of workpieces of the same thickness.

Interchangeable with peripherals for VP1 series

Mutual compatibility of ancillary devices has been achieved with the 400GT3 series

Even if the user of the 400GT3 series replaces it with this model, the ancillary devices can be used without modifications.
